Hello! I am a Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) Fellow at the University of Toronto (formerly a KITP fellow at UC Santa Barbara). The underlying goal of my work is to form more predictive models of high energy astrophysical phenomena using both semi-analytic calculations and numerical simulations. To date, my primary focus has been accretion onto supermassive black holes, but I have also dabbled in supernova remnants, gamma-ray burst afterglows, and Be star decretion disks. My thesis advisor was Eliot Quataert at UC Berkeley and my undergraduate research advisor was Stephen Reynolds at N.C. State University.
