Hello! I am a computational astrophysicist and a Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) Fellow at the University of Toronto (formerly a KITP Fellow at UC Santa Barbara). I earned my PhD in Physics from UC Berkeley and my B.S. in Physics and Applied Math from N.C. State University. I primarily work on forming more predictive models of supermassive black hole accretion using high-performance numerical simulations. This includes event-horizon-scale observational targets Sagittarius A* and M87*, as well as supermassive black hole binaries that emit low-frequency gravitational waves detectable by pulsar timing arrays and the upcoming LISA mission. I have also dabbled in supernova remnants, gamma-ray burst afterglows, and Be stars.
